The following rules were established by the the Board of Directors of the VeronaWalk Homeowners Association in order to maintain the best possible environment for everyone. Please familiarize yourself with the rules. We appreciate your cooperation in making VeronaWalk the most outstanding community in all of Southwest Florida.
TOWN CENTER RULES AND REGULATIONS
The VeronaWalk Town Center (including the Fitness Center, Library, Tennis, Basketball and Bocce Courts and the Computer Room) is for the residents and guests of VeronaWalk. The Town Center facilities provide for multi-purpose uses. The Town Manager and the Activities Director are responsible for assigning specific rooms and spaces for each approved and permitted group activity. The Town Manager and the Activities Director are responsible for facility room rental. Requests for the use of the Town Center must be pre-approved in writing by the Town Manager or Activities Director. A security deposit will be required for all group activities. Residents using any area of the Town Center are responsible for leaving it clean after use. No Town Center property, furniture or common equipment of any kind shall be removed from the premises. Radios, CD players, tape decks are not allowed in the Town center area unless used during a supervised recreation activity or private rental. Bicycles, golf carts, scooters, skateboards, in-line skates, or roller-skates are not allowed in the Town Center, the pool area, Town Center sidewalks or on the tennis courts, basketball court or bocce ball courts. All bicycles are to be parked in the bicycle rack areas.
- Hours: The Town Center hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. These hours may be extended with the advanced approval of the Town Manager or Activities Director. The hours of operation for any rentals within the Town Center shall be administered by the Town Manager or the Activities Director. The Fitness Center is accessible 24 hours daily with the appropriate key.

Pets: No pets are allowed in the Town Center, excepting only, dogs that are specifically trained to, and are actually being used to, assist a visually impaired owner, resident, or guest.

Conduct: Abuse of the Town Center amenities will constitute grounds for immediate restriction of the use of the facilities. Owners and tenants are liable for damage caused indirectly or directly by themselves and/or their guests to any of the amenities at the Town Center. The Board of Directors of the Association, upon the recommendation of the Town Manager, have the right to suspend the use and privileges of the common elements of any owners or tenants for violation of the rules and regulations, as it deems necessary. No bicycles, skateboards, in-line skates or scooters are allowed on the pool deck or the the red paved area.
- Guests: The VeronaWalk Town Center amenities (pools, fitness center, tennis courts, etc.) are provided for the enjoyment of residents and their overnight guests. While it is not encouraged, a limited number of day visitors (other than overnight guests) may use the facilities as long as they are accompanied by a resident. Giving keys to the fitness center to an unaccompanied day visitor is strictly forbidden. Residents who permit unaccompanied day visitors to use any of the Town Center amenities shall be subject to a fine ($100.00/day) and possible sanction in addition to assuming full responsibility for any injury and/or property damage.

TOWN CENTER LIBRARY AND COMPUTER LAB RULES
- Conduct in the Town Center Library and Computer Lab should be consistent with that expected in a public or school library.
- The hours of operation of the Town Center Library and Computer Lab are determined by the Homeowners association are posted on the entry door. Generally, the hours of operation coincide with those of the Town Center.
- At times the Library and Computer Lab may be closed so classes can be conducted. If possible signs will be posted in advance to advise of these closings. The website calendar will also contain information regarding the hours of operation and any upcoming closures.
- No food or beverage is permitted in the Library and Computer Lab at any time.
- Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. The adult must supervise and be actively involved with the child. Only one computer may be used by a family at one time. The computers are not to be used as "play toys".
- Residents must provide their own paper if using the printers.
- Residents using the computers are presumed to have knowledge of computers and the programs they contain. The staff
is not available to trouble shoot problems or to teach programs or provide computer knowledge on any structured level.
- Computer users may not save their work the Association's computers and should plan to save any work they deem necessary on self-provided external storage device (i.e. floppy discs, USB drives or CD-R writable discs.
- Each resident is allowed one-half hour of computer time. If there are residents waiting to use the computers, the residents using the computers shall relinquish their computer immediately after one-half hour of use. The official clock is the one on the wall in the room.
- The Library runs on an honor system. If you borrow a book, please return it in a timely fashion.
- Please place returned books in the basket labeled "Returned Books".
- The Library accepts donated books, however, they must be dated from the year 2000 or later. Please place donated books in the basket labeled"Donated Books".

FITNESS CENTER RULES
- The Fitness Center is available for use 24 hours a day, but the facility is kept locked and accessed only with your key. There is only one key issued per residence. Keys are available at the HOA office in the Town Center.

As you finish with each machine , free weights, benches, mats, etc., please wipe off all contact points with the provided disinfectant wipes.
While working through your sets on the resistance machines and free weights, please keep your conversations to a minimum. If you need longer than normal rest between sets, please alternate with anyone waiting to use that machine.
- Use of cell phones in the Fitness Center is prohibited. All cell phone conversations are to be conducted outside of the Fitness Center.
- Removal of any equipment (including weights) from the Fitness Room is not permitted.
- Do not change channels or adjust the volume of the Fitness Center televisions. Tune your personal media device to the frequencies posted.

TENNIS CENTER RULES
- Definitions: A Resident is a VeronaWalk owner or lessee. (When leasing to a non-resident, the owner forfeits rights to use the Town Center Amenities). A Guest is an overnight houseguest and they have the same rights as Residents. A visitor is a day guest of a resident.

Prime Time: 8:00 am. to 11:00 am. seven (7) days a week from October 1 through April 30. Prime time is reserved for Round Robin and for resident play only; visitors are not allowed Visitors are permitted during “Non-Prime Time” hours, provided at least one resident is on the court with the visitor(s) at all times.
- Lights: Lights may be turned on at each individual court as required. Lights will automatically shut off at 10:00 pm; however, players are requested to turn off lights upon completion of play.

General: Appropriate tennis attire including tennis shoes only must be worn at all times. Courteous behavior and proper language are also required . Unacceptable attire would include but would not be limited to bathing suites, tank tops, cut off jeans, sandals, etc. Excessive yelling, noise, profanity and racquet throwing will not be tolerated at any time. Pets, bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, scooters, etc are not permitted on the courts. Parking bicycles on the walkway between the courts is not allowed. All bicycles must be parked in the bicycle rack.

Children: Parents will be responsible for their children’s behavior at all time on the courts and will be responsible for any damages that they may cause. Children under twelve (12) years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times, unless participating in an organized tennis program or lesson.

Reservations: Court reservations may be made on the Sign-Up Board located at the Tennis Pavilion. Sign-up can be done after midnight, one week in advance only. Entries shall be made in Dry Erase Marker using first and last names. Playing time is limited to 1 1/2 hours. Back-to-back sign ups are not permitted. Reserved courts are held for 10-minutes and then become available to walk-ons. Anyone who walks on the court to play shall first enter their name on the Sign-Up Board.

Round Robin Play: Doubles Round Robin for men and women are on a drop-in basis. No sign-up is needed. Morning Round Robin Play is scheduled from 8:00 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for men; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday for women. Three courts shall be allotted for Round Robin play. The 10-minute cancellation policy is in effect regarding unused courts.
- Activities: Any type of tennis activity (e.g. tournaments, special events, league play, parties, etc.) must be presented to the VeronaWalk Tennis Activity Director.

Leagues: League practice or play is not permitted during Prime Time hours. When League play is scheduled, the captain is responsible for providing the names of the visiting team to the “Entrance Gate Security Office” 24 hours in advance. League practice or play shall be allotted up to a maximum of 5 courts and all team roosters must be comprised of at least 65% VeronaWalk residents. League play has preference over all other play.

Instructions: Individual or group instructions may be given to VeronaWalk residents and their guest/visitors. Instructions may be given by only Certified USPTA or USPTR members only and must be approved by the Activity Director and the Town Manager. These individuals must provide proof of $1,000,000 in liability Insurance naming VeronaWalk as an additionally insured.

Court Cleaning: Tennis courts will be groomed and maintained by VeronaWalk Maintenance Personnel. Any problems with the court surfaces, lines, nets, etc. should be reported to the Town Center Front Desk.

SWIMMING POOL RULES
- The swimming pools are open from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30 p.m. or dusk whichever is earlier. No one is permitted in the the pool area outside of the posted hours. Night swimming is not permitted.
- Proper bathing suits are required at all time. Infants must wear diapers with plastic pants over the diapers (Swimmees) until properly trained. Incontinent adults must also wear proper protective garments.
- Children under the age of 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all time while in or at the pool area.
- No running is permitted in the pool area.
- No rafts, inner-tubes, floats, balls or other flotation devices are not permitted in the pool unless during a supervised recreational program.
- Glass containers of any kind are prohibited in the pool area and on the pool decks.
- No pool furniture or fixtures of any kind shall be removed from the pool area.
- All radios, CD players, tape decks, televisions or other audio devices must be used with headphones.
- All pool rules as posted in the pool areas must be followed by all residents and guests.
- Swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
- Smoking is not permitted at the lap pool.
