Family Movie Night (Friday, January 16th at 6:30 p.m.)

This is the story of a little pig named Wilbur who was born a runt, and Mr. Arable decides to do away with it!  His daughter Fern begs him to let the helpless little pig live.  her father decides to let Fern keep him as a pet.  Wilbur meets a bunch of new friends including Charlotte.  Once Wilburn turns five weeks old Fern has no choice but to sell him to another farm.  Mr. and Mrs. Arable calls up Fern's uncle Mr. Homer L. Zuckerman.  Meanwhile, Wilbur has notice that Mr. Zuckerman and Lurvy are plotting to kill him!  So he hatches a plan with his dear friend Charlotte A. Cavatica, a beautiful large grey spider.  It's up to Charlotte to save Wilbur's life before he'll end up on the dinner table at Christmas time. 

Movie is free.  Popcorn, soda and water will be for sale at the event for 50 cents each.  No outside food and beverage allowed.  RSVP is required for planning purposes no later than January 13th.  Call the HOA Office at 774-0026.

Kayaking with the Manatees (Sunday, January 25th from 12:15 p.m. - 4 p.m.)

Join in the fun on Sunday as we hit the waters of South West Florida in search of manatees, dolphins, birds and even the occasional alligator!  We will be kayaking from Manatee Park in Fort Myers down the Orange River and back.  Enjoy lunch in the park and a manatee presentation before the trip (choice of turkey on wheat, ham on white or a veggies wrap).  Lunch comes with drink and dessert.  $39.00 per person for this day of fun so don't miss out.  We will meet at Manatee Park (youmay obtain our location in the park from the guard gate) at 12:15 p.m.  Lunch and manatee presentation at 12:30 p.m.  Instruction and kayaking 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Please sign up at the HOA Office by Tuesday, January 20th.  Make your Check payable to Veron Walk Activities.

Volunteers Needed
